Here in the US, the summer of concert tour(ism) has kicked off. Adele added 34 new dates for her residency in Las Vegas. Beyonce’s stadium tour kicks off May 10. Lizzo’s on the road this month, too.
And thanks to equal parts passion and the great Ticketmaster debacle of 2022, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has fans flying across the US to see one of her mesmerizing shows.
I am one (of many) such Swifties. I've seen not one, but two shows, on back-to-back weekends in two different cities, Las Vegas and Arlington, Texas.
Along with joyous memories with friends, I've also made delightful discoveries in unexpected places. Thanks to Visit Arlington for showing me some cute bars near the stadium, like 4 Kahunas Tiki Bar and the Hearsay Arlington speakeasy, where the pianist did a clever rendition of "Anti-Hero."
If you plan to see Taylor or another big headliner concert in the US this summer, be sure to check out my guide to the Eras tour.
