This time, I wandered to Ecuador, checking out the frenetic streets of Quito, taking cheesy pictures at the equator and hiking to a refugio on Cotopaxi volcano before hopping over to the islands of the Galápagos to see its black sand, volcanic rock beaches and giant tortoises.
